4. Respectful Communication

We encourage honest feedback, including criticism, but reviews must remain respectful.

Do not include:

  • Personal attacks
  • Harassment
  • Hate speech
  • Threats
  • Discriminatory language
  • Offensive or abusive content

Constructive feedback is always welcome.

5. No Fake Reviews

RatingsNest has zero tolerance for fake or misleading reviews.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Reviews written without a genuine experience
  • Reviews created to manipulate ratings
  • Coordinated review campaigns
  • Multiple reviews for the same experience
  • Reviews submitted using fake accounts
  • AI-generated reviews presented as personal experiences

Accounts involved in fraudulent review activity may be suspended or permanently removed.

6. Conflicts of Interest

To maintain fairness, you should not review a business if:

  • You own the business.
  • You work for the business.
  • You are closely related to the owner or employees.
  • You have been paid or rewarded to leave a review without proper disclosure.
  • You are reviewing a competitor with the intent to influence ratings.

7. Incentivized Reviews

If you received a discount, gift, free product, or any other benefit in exchange for your review, this must be clearly disclosed.

Undisclosed incentivized reviews may be removed.

8. Personal Information

Do not publish personal or confidential information, including:

  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Home addresses
  • Payment information
  • Government identification numbers
  • Private customer records

Protect both your own privacy and the privacy of others.

9. Illegal or Harmful Content

Reviews must not promote or encourage:

  • Illegal activities
  • Fraud
  • Violence
  • Dangerous conduct
  • Malware
  • Phishing
  • Spam
  • Scams

Such content may be removed without notice.

10. Supporting Evidence

In some cases, RatingsNest may request additional information to help verify a review.

Examples include:

  • Purchase confirmations
  • Booking confirmations
  • Invoices
  • Receipts
  • Order numbers

Failure to provide reasonable supporting evidence when requested may result in temporary removal of the review while verification is completed.

11. Review Moderation

RatingsNest uses a combination of automated systems and manual moderation to help maintain the quality and integrity of reviews.

We may:

  • Review submitted content before or after publication.
  • Investigate suspicious activity.
  • Request additional verification.
  • Remove reviews that violate these guidelines.
  • Suspend accounts involved in repeated policy violations.

Updated reviews should continue to reflect your honest experience.

A report does not automatically result in removal. Each reported review is evaluated individually based on our policies and available evidence.

14. Appeals

If your review is removed or restricted, you may request a review of that decision.

Appeals should include any relevant information or documentation that supports your position.
